And when I painted this today I struggled once again,

getting a good photo in any kind of light.

I didn't care if it was Flourescent

Incandescent

Candle or

Sunlight.

I finally got a decent pic of it

in "Natural Light" 

on my porch

so that's it's name.

A great friend I made several years ago during a 30 paintings in 30 days challenge, Meredith Adler has started her very own podcast about artists in the Asheville and Western North Carolina area

called Local HeARTed.

 

All sorts of artists.

Oil Painters,

 etc.

and she's interviewing them about their process,

what inspires them,

how they got where they are.

All very interesting stuff.

I listened to one today and it made me want to drive to Asheville to take a class in a subject I know nothing about.

Anyway, it's a great listen once a week on Wednesdays.
