Mountain Marsh Progression Painting

Mountain Marsh Progression

My son James, lives near Logan, UT and one a recent trip I took a lot of photos of the marshes there in the valley.
I know, who knew there were marshes in the dessert.

It is a stunning view.

My challenge: should I decide to accept it,
is to paint the above photo using every skill and piece of knowledge I had.
You know I can't resist a challenge!

Here's the proof!

Here's the finished product,
I think!

It's not signed yet,
but I "think" it's finished.
