Painting a Vintage Camper

Painting in the Park

General Butler State Park approached me about teaching painting classes several months ago.
I've been trying to to get this off the ground,
and to be honest it hasn't been easy.

However, this painting of a vintage camper must have struck a nerve because we had 6 people come and take the class.

I love teaching beginners because it is so fun to see their eyes light up as they realize,
"Hey, I can do this"!

General Butler State Park has a beautiful mezzanine with a fabulous view and that's where we had our class.
It was very inspiring.

Everyone was very dialed in as they put their own personality
 in their paintings.
It's always so interesting to see how
 everyone develops their own style
Don't mind my thumb in the way.  Sorry about that.
We already got out sky in and
were working on mountains here.

Here's a very short video I took during the class.

(Please excuse the background noise.  A family reunion group took over part of the mezzanine and were very glad to see each other.
