Cheap Canvas Product Review

Cheap Canvas Product Review

You're walking through a store and you see a stack of art canvasses and the price is unbelievable!

Your heart rate quickens, your palms get sweaty,
your eyes glaze over.

"Oh my gosh, these are so cheap.
Think what I could do with these".

I was in the Dollar Tree the other day and these 8" x 10" canvasses nearly fell off the shelf at me.

"OK". I said, "I'll bite".

Then I thought I'd do a review of this canvas before I used the one I bought up.

Click HERE to see the video.
(While you're on my YouTube channel, please click the thumbs up button and how about subscribing to my channel.  I come out with a new video every Friday.  Click that little bell when you subscribe and it will notify you when I release a new video).

Now that you've watched the video remember this,
"You Get What You Pay For!"

I wouldn't say never buy those cheap canvasses, but what I will say is this,
As you get better at painting, you should be using better tools and a canvas is a tool.
In the video you saw how the better canvas was more taught and the cheaper one was very springy or spongey.
You can watch the video to see how I compared it to the better canvas and what the results were.

Wow! It's Been A While!

Sometime Life Really Does Get In The Way!

I've been so busy putting our farm on the market, teaching classes, painting, volunteering at the art center, and getting a new class on my website,
I guess I forgot to tell you all about it.

I've taught this Red Vintage Truck class in person and I thought I'd make a class out of it for my website.

This online class is really two classes in one.  The drawing class and the painting class for this fun Red Vintage Truck.
Of course no one says you have to paint it red.
Pick you poison (color).
Click HERE to go to the class.
Use coupon code RTcm2019 at checkout for 25% off.
Coupon code ends midnight December 16, 2019.

I''m not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to tech stuff, so the fact I got it on my website without a major break down is a huge win for. me.

I've been volunteering at the Art Center of Switzerland County, in Vevay, Indiana.  It's actually right across the Ohio river from me and I am one of the 48 artists showing my work there.

Here's my display in the art center.
It's a large place with several floors.  They offer yoga, violin lessons, all sorts of art classes and I hope to be teaching some after the 1st of the year.

Thanksgiving was in there somewhere.

I did an arts and crafts show.

Took a granddaughter to a Kentucky game.

Worked on transforming our sun porch with hubby Jimbo.

That was a big job.

Got notecards made of some of my art.
 Love painting Ball Blue jars

These are iconic buildings in Carrollton, KY where I live.

This set was from a series I did on sunsets/sunrises.

And I got my Etsy shop back up and running.

So as you can see, nothing going on here,
probably much like your life.

The coupon code for the Vintage Red Truck class, RTcm2019 gets you 25% off the already low price of $9.99 bringing it down to an insane $7.50.
But it's only good until midnight, December 16, 2019.
So if it's calling your name, you better get a move on.  It would make a great gift for someone who wants to learn to paint
 or for yourself.

Click HERE to go to the class and get it before the sale price ends.
