The Envelope Please

And The Winner Is. . . YOU!

We are in the middle of the awards shows for movies, tv, broadway plays, music. . .

And the list goes on and on!

You never hear of awards for things like this -

Best portrayal of a nurse in the E.R.
Best mechanic with an honest bill.
Best butcher with an accurate scale.
Best office worker with a pleasant smile.

You NEVER hear of an award like that.
No awards for every day Joe's who get up and go to work every day, take care of business and their families, pay their bills on time, and all that responsible stuff.
Whether they feel like it or not, they do it.
No awards for them.

Well. . .
I'm giving you an award.

Best Portrayal of a Decent Human Being
goes to
(drum roll)

YOU!!!

No, I don't have a golden statue, or a $50K goody bag for you, but you have my admiration and heartfelt thanks.
I thank you for your:
hardwork,
diligence
honesty,
integrity
responsibility
and all around good guy/girl!

We have to give ourselves a pat on the back
or an award
or a sticker
or an attaboy/girl.

Go ahead!
Give it up for yourself!

Here's some goodies for you!

You made it through another winter
and here is the first crocus blooming in my yard.
Spring IS coming and you  will get to enjoy
those fresh breezes and beautiful colors.

These are the first daffodils of the season!
My yard has hundreds if not thousands coming up,
but these are the first and I wanted you to enjoy them.

Here's a painting I did a year or two ago, of my daffodils
and forsythia.
One of my favs!

Now,
get up and give yourself a hand,
reach around and give yourself a pat on the back or a hug!
Go eat a chocolate bar!

You're a pretty incredible human being
and our lives would be less without you!

Have a great day and know you are it in a bottle!
