Where Are Your Goals?

It's The Second Week of January
Where Are Your Goals?

WOW!
I just read over my goals for 2018
and there were several on there I already forgot.
Two weeks and I'm off the rails in some areas.

That tells me a couple of things.
Either I didn't really "make" those goals,
Or they aren't as important as maybe I thought.

After reading over them,
I've decided, they are great goals
and I do want to achieve them.
SOOOOO,
I now have to figure out a way to not forget them again.

That means I can't go two weeks again without reading them.
It means I have to put a plan in place to achieve them.
It means I have to calendar time to achieve them.

So, I'm writing about them
and today I'm planning and scheduling them.

I go old school on a lot of things.
I use that timer to keep me from going down the rabbit hole
of social media and the internet.

This is last years calendar,
because believe it or not,
this year my calendar is on my computer.
I'm not sure it will work better than the paper one I have always used.
I do have several hard copy journals I keep on
business and scripture study and personal stuff.

Goal Setting and
Goal Achieving
are two different things.

I don't want to just make goals.
I want to achieve them to move forward,
to improve my art,
and my business,
and my life.

So, now I have to take action.
That's the only way to achieve any goal.
Action.

If you have a goal to learn to paint this year,
watch this video as we get to know each other.
Let's paint more this year.
