Day Seven- Stacks of Goodness

Day Seven - Stacks of Goodness

OK, just for the record,
I love chocolate chip cookies.

They are a delicacy in a class all their own.

I have a son and a granddaughter that are actively trying to make the best
chocolate chip cookies in the world.
They have both succeeded, in my humble opinion.

But I'm no slouch either
and since my son lives in Utah,
and my granddaughter lives in middle Ohio,
I have to provide for myself,
and eat their wonderful cookies whenever I go there.

The other thing I love about this painting is the antique dresser scarves I used under and behind this wonderful, delicious, plate of cookies.
I love old linens and I pulled these out of my stash.

They have beautiful hand embroidery and cutwork on them.

Another thing I'm a sucker for.

  1. I'm not sure this is fair to do to someone who is iced in without any treats, Sharon! Your painting has my mouth watering...
