Re-Working
Again!
Painting is learning!
Always learning.
Always learning and improving.
I had an inspiration painting I used over a year ago,
but never got anywhere near where I wanted mine to go.
Painted it.
Re-painted it.
Re-re-painted it.
Finally, I got something I am happy with.
I'm not even sure if I have a photo of every version of the painting.
This is either the second or third re-work.
I don't hate it like I did # 2 or #3.
But I didn't like it.
I went into my new studio above the gallery last week and
decided now is the time to git r done.
I'm finished.
It's finished.
Happy,
but finished.
By the way, if you haven't checked out my new gallery
River Run Gallery and Fun Art Studio
I'm adding some links for you to check out.
If you go to my blog, I hope you'll consider subscribing to it,
so you will always know about the art, new artists, new shows and new classes.
We have lots going on and I'd hate for you to miss it all.
Thanks for all your support.
I really do appreciate it.

I know,
I'm a social butterfly.
Wow! Those rich sienna tones and bigger foreground rocks really pull it together, nicely done!! Success at last, next!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Diane. Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn every once in a while. I truly learned a lot in the struggle here.
DeleteLooking for your 30 in 30 start! Can't wait!
ReplyDeletethanks Meredith. I put it on the River Run Gallery blog. But I'm also putting it on here. Great, now I have two places to blog every day for 30 days. I must really be crazy. Loved your Day 1 painting.
