Bad Day in Paintsville

No Pictures Here!
Had one of the worst painting days, yesterday
as part of one of the worst painting weeks, ever.
I know there will always be up and down weeks,
and this is one of the down weeks.

I love to paint,
and I will love to paint again,
but this week has been brutal.

There is a story about a stone cutter who keeps pounding away on a piece of granite,
with no apparent effect.
Pounding, pounding, pounding.
Then,
finally
with one more blow,
the stone breaks in two.

I hope,
I'm like the stone cutter,
I will keep on hammering,
but I sure could use a breakthrough
right about now.

  1. We all get times like this. Persevere! It's the only way through...

Good luck. Maybe that stone is just about to break!
