It's NEVER Too Late To Start Again!

It Truly is NEVER Too Late -

So Let's Get Started!

It's May already!

Flowers are blooming all over the farm.

Some of my favorite painting subjects.

Nearly half way through the year
and where are my goals?

I know I wrote them down.
Now where did I put them?

Ever happen to you?

Happens to me.  A lot!

Even if I know where I wrote them down,
I often don't follow through as well as I should.

So this is often my mantra!

It's never too late to start again.

So today I did.

I read,
I meditated.
I fixed a healthy breakfast.
I did some warm up exercises,
I did some stretching
and then I did a workout routine for women over 50.
(I'm way over 50).
Got dressed.
Cleaned up the kitchen.

And now I'm talking with you.

Will I do that every day this week?
I have no idea,
but that is the plan.

I'm holding you accountable to hold me accountable!

I'll check in and you check up on me, OK?

Leave a note in the comments about your goals and how you meet them, about starting over, or anything else you need to get off your chest.

Now for my favorite flowers I love to paint.

I painted these 7" x 5" florals as gifts for a baby shower I hosted for one of my daughters this past weekend.

We had a wonderful time
and I thank everyone who came.

  1. Hi, Sharon! I'm so glad you shared this, as it really speaks to me. I've set goals for myself MANY times but not followed through for one reason or another, lol! Mostly I'll start out strong and then fall off due to various distractions or health issues. Sometimes I'll set goals that are too ambitious, begin to feel overwhelmed, and then just quit. Too much stress does crazy things to my body so I have to be careful. I'm trying to learn new ways to create as I do get bored with my fine art painting at times. Thank you for inspiring me to try again.
Your flowers are lovely! Most of ours have bloomed and gone for the year. I'll have to find some flowers that can stand the heat of our long hot summers.
Have a great day and happy painting! :o)
