Some Days are Just More Productive Than Others

Some days you can just get more work done than others.

Ever notice that.

I've been trying to make better use of my time

so yesterday I decided I would practice on painting flowers.

As a certified florist, I love flowers,

and you may know I struggle painting them.

I had several "in my mind's eye" moments lately

when I could see in my head how to do something I've been trying to do.

I spent the morning working on the flowers

and the afternoon on something I'm more comfortable with.

Namely the landscape.

Here is my body of work for yesterday visiting my orchard.

So why are they out in the orchard.

Well,

because it's under 75 degrees right now

so I can go outside.

Still needs some tweaking,

but I love the mountains in the distance.
