This bad boy kicked my patootie all over the studio.

This painting was a struggle from the get go.

I'm not sure what the problem was,

but the star of the show,

that big yellow zinnia,

just would not cooperate.

I walked away from it for about 24 hours

and then went back to it

and in less than five minutes it was complete.

How does that happen.

This is how it was born.
