A usual night for me is about 4 hours, and even that's not uninterrupted. Sharon L. Thanks for the good advice for those nights when "it" happens. <br />juliefordoliver.blogspot.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07186754679744000743noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5963651911800801225.post-88002484729812201112016-08-29T14:11:21.522-04:002016-08-29T14:11:21.522-04:00My husband worked shift work for years and I don&#...My husband worked shift work for years and I don't think believe the human body is meant to work nights. I wish the best for you. I know I hate to see the evening come cause I know it's going to be another long night. Good luck to all the insomniacs out there.Sharon L. I worked the overnight shift at a resort for over 10 years and in that time my body became accustomed to being awake all night and catching naps during the day (I had small children at the time and I tried to sleep while they were in school). Though it has been years since I left that job, my body has never quite recovered. My doctor says my internal clock is out of whack, lol! So, I sleep when I can, and just try to be accepting of things as they are. Not easy...there are long stretches where I lose all motivation when it comes to my art...witness my blogs, lol! Then I feel guilty for not being more productive. I really enjoyed this post and thank you for the wonderful tips. I look forward to your 30 in 30 project. Best wishes to you, my friend. :o) Sherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05876888130244403232noreply@blogger.com
