Day Two

Day Two Another View of THE Building

 8" x 8" NFS

My small gallery on Main St.,
(maybe I should have named it that)
is an intriguing building.

This balcony is reminiscent of the French Quarter
and there is nothing else like it in Carrollton.
That makes it very noticeable.

The building is old and the years of use show more in some areas than others.
There is a narrow steep staircase leading to my private studio
just beyond these doors.

When I'm up there painting, I can almost channel the spirits of artists 100 years ago who might have lived in a similar space with a small place to cook and a little day bed to sleep.

Eat
Sleep
Paint

Sort of sums it all up.

Would love to have you visit me sometime in the gallery.

    1. Thanks Meredith. I've tried before but couldn't get it, but I was happy with this one.

  2. This is so cool, love the balcony and the ironwork. You must feel great to have it all set up and running.
